Rebecca Stamey-White is the founder of Stamey-White, a San Francisco-based professional corporation representing the alcoholic beverage, hospitality, and cannabis industries, and their service providers. She assists clients with securing and maintaining their required alcohol and cannabis licenses, advises on trade practice compliance, provides strategic regulatory counsel on transactions, and defends clients before regulatory bodies.  Rebecca is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law’s San Francisco Immersion Program, where she teaches Cannabis Law, Business & Policy. She has taught Wine Law and Regulatory Issues as Professional Faculty at Sonoma State University’s Wine Business Institute. Additionally, she has guest lectured on cannabis and alcohol topics at Berkeley Law, UC Davis School of Law, the Cannabis Entrepreneurship Academy at Colorado University, and the University of New Hampshire School of Law.

Before starting her own firm, she was a partner at Hinman & Carmichael LLP and an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She holds a BA and JD, both from Northwestern University.
